1. Project Overview

Ammo Crafts Hub (ACH) is a premium leather goods brand specializing in hand-stitched shoes, bags, and accessories. The goal of this project was to translate the tactile, high-quality nature of their physical products into a digital storefront.

The resulting platform is a sophisticated e-commerce experience that merges the storytelling of a fashion editorial with the functionality of a robust online store.

2. The Challenge

As a brand known for bespoke craftsmanship, ACH needed a platform that could:

  • Showcase Quality: Standard e-commerce templates often feel cluttered. We needed a layout that allowed the high-resolution product photography to breathe.
  • Bridge the Gap: Many customers in the target demographic prefer the personal reassurance of chatting with a merchant before buying. A strict “Add to Cart” flow could alienate these users.
  • Organize Inventory: The brand offers a wide range of products (Men, Women, Unisex, Accessories) that needed intuitive categorization.

3. The Solution

I developed a “Hybrid E-Commerce” solution that caters to both modern digital shoppers and traditional buyers.

  • Editorial UI Design: The interface uses ample whitespace, elegant serif typography, and a refined Green/Earth-tone palette to evoke a sense of organic luxury and timelessness.
  • Localized UX (The Hybrid Checkout): I implemented a dual-action system on product pages. Users can choose “Add to Cart” for a standard checkout or “Order via WhatsApp” to initiate a direct conversation with the brand. This strategy significantly reduces cart abandonment in markets where trust is built through conversation.
  • Instant Gratification: A “Quick Shop” feature allows users to view details and add items to their cart directly from the listing page, streamlining the path to purchase.

4. Visual Showcase

The Immersive Storefront

The hero section establishes the brand promise immediately: “Timeless Craftsmanship.” The design focuses on high-impact imagery and clear value propositions (Unisex, 100% Genuine Leather).

Intuitive Navigation

Users can browse by visual categories. This section breaks down the catalog into digestible groups (Kiddies, Tote Bags, Men’s Shoes), helping users find what they need without overwhelmed menus.

Frictionless “Quick Shop”

To increase conversion speed, I implemented a “Quick Shop” feature. This allows return customers to instantly select and buy new arrivals without navigating away from the main feed.

The Hybrid Product Page

The core of the sales strategy. Notice the primary actions: A purple “Add to Cart” for automated checkout and a prominent green “Order via WhatsApp” button for personalized service.

Catalog & Search

A clean, filterable shop page that supports search functionality. The layout remains consistent and grid-based to maintain order regardless of screen size.

Cross-Selling & Discovery

To boost Average Order Value (AOV), a “You May Also Like” section suggests complementary leather accessories at the bottom of product pages.
